Freelance Senior Account Manager

Candidates must have at least 2-3 years relevant experience in Account Management in the Advertising/Creative industry


You are an Oddefy FREELANCE SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER. You manage and oversee the key clients of the agency and are the main representative of the agency to them. Equipped with experience, you ensure that the accounts you cover are managed properly and effectively, meeting all the requirements, and ensuring client satisfaction that will secure the retention of the business. You also aid in expanding the agency’s business within the accounts you handle, opening referrals leading to portfolio expansion. You will also be aiding the Account Director in overseeing the responsibilities and deliverables of the account executives for their clients.



Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and escalations.
  • Understand clients’ needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to keep them updated on product/service offerings, industry trends, and relevant company news.
  • Anticipate clients’ future needs and proactively address them.


Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with the sales team to pursue them.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Track sales performance, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.


Project Management:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development) to deliver on client commitments.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and resolving issues.


Client Satisfaction and Retention:

  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to gather feedback and address any concerns or dissatisfaction.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and increase satisfaction levels.
  • Develop strategies to retain existing clients and minimize churn.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to resolve client issues promptly and effectively.


Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth opportunities and areas for expansion.
  • Develop strategic recommendations and action plans based on market insights.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, including sales metrics, client feedback, and revenue forecasts.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.


Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior account management staff, fostering their professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to share insights and best practices.



  • You have expertise on account management and experience on successfully executing the marketing campaigns of all the projects handled.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to rightfully represent the agency and manage the client’s needs and expectations.
  • You have a strong understanding about marketing and advertising; can develop a strong communication strategy that will answer the client’s needs.
  • You are good at leading account executives to achieving their respective KPIs.
  • You have strong resilience that enables you to deal with problems and constructive criticism.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills, are able to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • You have enthusiasm about the industry with a real desire to keep up to date with new developments in the media and come up with ways to ensure the best practices are executed within your handled accounts.
