Social Media Manager

Candidates must have at least 2 years relevant experience in Social Media Management and Strategy, preferably in the Advertising industry

WHO YOU ARE 

You are the Social Media Manager for Odd Group. You take care of social media initiatives on behalf of the agency’s clients on all social media and digital platforms. You are in charge of managing, growing, and expanding the social media presence of the agency’s clients. Together with the Strategy and Innovations Director, the Digital Marketing Manager and the rest of the strategy and digital team, you’ll work on strategizing and executing the needed social media deliverables of clients.

WHAT YOU DO

  • As a Social Media Manager, your position encompasses and includes you in both Social/Digital and Strategy teams. You report directly to the Digital Marketing Director and are under the leadership of the Strategy and Innovations Director.
  • With the guidance of the Strategy and Innovations Director, and the Digital Marketing Manager, you ensure that all social media, and community management deliverables are met and upheld.
  • You aid in strategizing for the social media plans and executions of the agency’s clients and internal accounts (Oddefy, Prodd).
  • You create the right approach and brand voice/persona for the clients in all of its communications.
  • You attend and cover events necessary for the communication of the brand.
  • You develop comprehensive media plans aligned with the team and client’s goals and objectives by identifying target audiences and selecting optimal media channels to maximize reach and engagement.
  • You execute strategic media planning and buying initiatives through negotiating and securing cost-effective advertising space across various platforms. You maintain strong relationships and a list of media vendors as needed to ensure the success of your current/future projects.
  • You answer all online inquiries and respond to comments within the managed social media pages, making sure it is engaging within the online community to strengthen the relationship with them.
  • You aid the Digital Marketing Manager in media buying and planning tasks and initiatives. 
  • You aid and support complementary digital initiatives that aim to lift our client’s campaigns.
  • You handle the creation of data-driven reports for accounts that are to be presented to both the internal team and the clients we service.
  • You participate in brainstorming for social initiatives during pitches.

For Internal Accounts 

  • You are the point person for all things related to Oddefy and Prodd content.
  • You will be responsible to facilitate brainstorms and producing fun, smart and relevant content for the agency’s accounts.
  • You are also capable of producing fun short-form content on Tiktok for the agency’s account along with the team.
  • You are in charge of managing and being on top of any inquiries and messages that need to be addressed within these internal accounts.

WHAT YOU ARE GOOD AT 

  • You have strong communication and creative thinking skills that enable you to assist the agency in coming up with the best ideas for the various projects. 
  • You have strong knowledgeable skills in the technical aspects of social media management, including but is not limited to the various analytics of different social media platforms, various social listening tools, et al. 
  • You have a strong understanding of marketing and advertising; can develop a strong social media strategy that will answer the client’s needs. 
  • You have strong resilience that enables you to deal with problems and constructive criticism.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills, can work under pressure, and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • You have enthusiasm for the industry with a real desire to keep up to date with new developments in the media and come up with ways to ensure the best practices are executed within your handled accounts.
